REPORT: Ms. Ernst is a retired National Guard lieutenant colonel and a veteran of the Iraq war. Her military background could help Mr. Trump given his lack of foreign policy experience or national security experience. The fact that she is a woman could also help Mr. Trump with a group of voters with whom he currently polls poorly.

We keep hearing names like Ernst and Cotton thrown around. In all honesty Sen. Cotton would have my support for the top job. That being said, I'm not sure it would be a wise career choice for either Ernst or Cotton, but I probably wouldn't hear anymore violations of international laws of war spouted from the campaign trail.
