Interesting trivia:
Despite all the persistent Internet rumors, Jesse Ventura was a Navy SEAL. He graduated from BUD/S but was assigned to a UDT Team. Retired Senior Chief SEAL Don Shipley has stated that Ventura is a SEAL, who just happened to not serve on a SEAL team. If BMCS(SEAL) Shipley says he's a SEAL, he's a SEAL.

That is true. However, I recommend you watch BMCS(SEAL) Shipley's Youtube video where he discusses Jesse. Jesse graduated from BUD/S, and not UDT Replacement Training. So regardless if he was assigned to a UDT or SEAL Team, he is a SEAL.

Agreed. Orton is one of those rare people who "earned" the dreaded title of "Ex Marine."
I know I'm not the only one who noticed that the commentator was pronouncing the "Corps" in Marine Corps with the "p" instead of the proper pronunciation "Marine Core."
