Thanks for sharing great ideas for the young in mind and healthy SP5 Mark Kuzinski
I have added comments focused on me some of which may benefit others.
1. Know your Numbers: I know my numbers, have a home blood pressure machine and see cardiology twice a year at least.
2. Carb Up! What? I try to balance my carbs to have enough and not get close to diabetes
3. Drink More Water -- Avoid Soda: GRETA ADVICE. Tap water is great virtually everywhere :-)
4. Foam Rolling: I have learned to roll out of bed following cardiothoracic surgery. I roll onto my side and let my feet drop to the floor and use my left hand to stabilize me as I get out of bed.
5. Stretching: I have been directed to be limited in my stretching. Ice is great for swelling. Using Styrofoam Dixie cups 3/4 filed with water and then frozen. Peel back the Styrofoam and apply in irregular patterns to the swollen area. Do this in the bathtub or shower because the ice melts. :-)
6. Resistance Training: I hope to be able to one day.
7. Cardio -- Do it! I hope to be able to one day.
8. Try to Go Natural: Frozen vegetable can frequently be fresher than store-ought or farm-stand bought vegetables.
9. Learn More: Excellent advice. talk with your doctors as well.
10: Stay Motivated: Very important.

Thanks LTC Stephen F. and I think you and I are in agreement on many of the points - and modifications to each and all to fit you and what your needs are should always be looked at. #10 is so very very important - "Stay Motivated"!! Motivation along with achievable goals are very important.
