One thing I often notice is it seem's everyone I paralyzed with fear. ( I can only hope I would not be in in that situation). but think chances are better for survivable some people rush the gunman like the guys did a few months ago on that train in Europe.

Great advice - I would add this applies to your home or hotel when traveling as well - fire and break in. As well nothing goes as planed - learn to think on your feet.

Recently underwent an active shooter drill at work with blanks. It was quite the experience. The team learned a lot.

Probably should be practiced more thought units. In hopes of preventing further incidents.
