Yep.....
Saw a guy in front of me last DWE and he was locking his knees, and you could see it in the back of his trousers. He kept bobbing forward......tsk tsk tsk.

SGT (Join to see) - My brother used to pass out in church all the time Keith. Always nice to hear his head hitting the hard oak chairs! I think it left permanent damage!

You were in Nam together? Were you in the same unit? I thought that wasn't done anymore.

I remember those days SGT (Join to see). We had to learn the deference between correct military posture and exaggerated posture which puts lots of stress on soldiers. As a company commander at Fort Benning I never had any heat casualties because we ensured every soldiers drank enough fluids and knew how to stand at attention properly.
I have taken part in hundreds of formations, parades and pass-in-reviews as an enlisted man, then as a cadet at USMA and as an infantry officer.

It was an important part of training LTC Stephen F.. There were companies not as fortunate as yours were. Their leadership was lacking.

I have been in 14 years come August, have yet to lock my knees standing in formation. I think I heard the don't lock your knees phrase within the first 2 weeks of basic training. Those words have stuck ever since SGT (Join to see)

Those troops that didn't pay attention or didn't care, we're in a world of hurt when they were in formation at PR or attention. They dropped like flys, TSgt Joe C..
