I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Senator Elizabeth Warren knows that the Senate Republicans are doing their job most of the time, the job they were elected to do: Block the progressive agenda. Sadly they sometimes fail as when they passed Obama's budget which included more funding for progressive programs. No, when she utters this nonsense, Senator Warren is merely trolling for weak minded people to add to the dead weight of the Left.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Seriously? So you're saying that we should all shut up and allow anyone to do anything they damn well please? Well, how about that pesky oath that you and I took, to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. Should we just allow anyone to burn it? Progressivism, Elizabeth Warren's favorite ideology, proposes to supplant the balance of powers and shift all power to the Executive Branch. You can argue with that but that is the stated premise of their ideology. I oppose it. I will block it. I will only vote for representatives who will block it. And if you support it, I will oppose you.

CPT Jack Durish - You said: "but that is the stated premise of their ideology."
Show me! I have been a progressive liberal for over 50 years and I have never read that, nor see that.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Well, go back to the writings and speeches of Woodrow Wilson. He got the ball rolling and the Progressive Movement has never altered course.

Elizabeth, Elizabeth, (Didn't she claim to be a Native American Indian?) She conveniently leaves out the fact that the 2012 Midterm election gave the so called Republican party a mandate, one which they obviously chose to ignore as they have repeatedly voted for obama's programs, instead of blocking obama's progressive agenda which is the mandate given by the voters. She does not mention the other times Democrats have controlled the Senate and have done the exact same thing.
This is a fishing expedition for Elizabeth, hoping to cast a wide net and catch some throlls while she is at it.
As for Trump, he is the latest Democratic invention, they have given him a reason to be.

SPC Andrew Griffin - Very simple explanation. Had the RINOS done their job, the one they were elected to do, specifically on the 2012 Midterm election, yes the one they took control of the Senate and even increased their control of the House, if they had acted as mandated then middle of the road America would never had looked at Trump. Everything the RINOS have failed to do is on Trump's agenda, he is telling the people what they are looking for.
As for the Democrats if they had not abandoned their path and become Progressive obsessive and given their full support to a rule by decree then there would not be a reason for Trump, they could blame the Republicans for Trump until hell freezes over (I borrowed that) but truth is they are the father and mother of the creature. Also contributing to the effort is that "bastion of honesty and integrity", yes Hillary, the same one that blamed a video for the killing of Ambassador Stevens while on the night before she was telling her daughter about the terrorist attack (is on emails in case you wish to check)
Tell the American people about jobs, the economy and then ask them about Obama's immigration policies, or lack thereof and how it affects them.
Yes Andrew, when its all said and done, they own that baby, Lock Stock and Barrell.
In the meantime Elizabeth keeps throlling, don't get caught in the net brother.

SFC William Farrell - We all know their game, except for those who do not wish to see and are lead by pied pipers. She will claim anything, progressives have a monopoly on claiming and accusing anyone who opposes them, they are not ruled by those same standards. This is all a throwback to the old Soviet Union mantras where repetition became ingrained in low information beings and therefore became the truth. One thing about Commies and Progressives, they are good at Advertising/Merchandising.

I am no fan of Sen. Warren. She is correct that the Senate republicans are not doing(at least part of) their jobs. The job of the senate is not to obstruct, in this case a Supreme Court Justice, but determine yea or nae on the nomination.

I do not believe "The Will of the People" is a non-functioning government.

This argument has been presented repeatedly with each side taking both views depending on which side is blocking and which is nominating.

Same old it is right we we do it wrong when you do it.

Nothing will change as long as we only want what is best for our party and care nothing about what is best for our country.
