I would regard this report as sensational journalism and take what they say with a shaker full of salt.

They'll probably do like ISIS, and the Taliban. Wipe them off the face of the earth.

It appears that Turkey has "Nationalized" large areas of land in it's Southwest where conflict between Kurds and security forces have left the region pretty much in shambles. The Turkish government plans on rebuilding the Hotels, Restaurants, Churches and "cultural monuments" that were nationalized. Apparently mosque properties were also expropriated in the move, even though they are technically already state property. At this time the only church in the region that was still operating despite the devastation, remains open and operational.

It certainly has the potential to work out poorly for the Churches seized, however we will not know how they will choose to rebuild or how accommodating they will be providing spaces for those Churches to worship during the rebuilding process.
