Okay someone smarter than me explain what the new crazes is with this new tactical reload vice knowing you weapon and gear and keeping you weapon down range toward the tangos and reloading ? I understand behind cover is behind cover but I was taught never to take my eyes off where the bad guys are!

A tactical reload is used when the fighting has commenced and you have a brief moment to reload before needing to reload mid firefight...

Tactical reload is a skill that needs to be practiced so you can keep your eyes down range and on your target. This also allows for you to reload your weapon when you want to not when you have to. You noticed he did not just drop his magazine to the ground because it still has ammo that you might need later.
