"Revealed" Hitler's Private World (TV Episode 2006)

I understand; I can assure you that the video is very much worth watching yet disturbing in that there was evidently considerable verbal material recovered from the films, more than, as you say, one might otherwise expect would have been recoverable. The lip reader involved in the study actuallymlip read german, though the discussion in the video is in English, though with an anatomically correct reconstruction of the voice. I haven't seen it for some time, at least I think it was done that way, or, if I'm wrong it was done with the voice in German using English subtitles. I can tell you that I, for my part, was equally taken aback as I'd expect you'd be watching it, bothnat the sophistication of the approach used and, also, by the dialogue itself, which was quite revealing in a way you'd need to actually see and or hear to entirely understand. I'd also long had thoughts that such an approach could, as well, be used with other major figures caught on film, an approach that could, potentially, at the very least, significantly enhance and or potentially rewrite a good deal of history and or historical perception, obviously. I'd of course be most eager to know your reaction(s) if you have a chance to watch it; many thanks for your very kind interest, by all means, certainly.

I also mentioned this separately on here, however, in case you hadn't seen it, get them now classic 2 vol bio by john Toland, who went into considerably more detail than the William shirer book did the famous one written in I think the 50s. Toland took a rather different approach from shirer such that each of their efforts complements andnaddsmto the other.

I just thought you might possibly care to know that the videos showing the lip readingmid mentioned are evidentlymon YouTube I had seen. Just do a search for "private world" and "ww2" and you should see them as I did. How complete they are I don't know and there seemed to be sevl of them however those shouldat least give you a reasonable idea of how it was done and the kind of speech that was recovered I think youll truly find it quite fascinating as I'd mentioned before I'd be eager to know what you'd think of the whole thing after you might have a chance to look at all of it, many thanks.
