I have. many times. I have a lot of family in LE. Tough time to be in law enforcement but that wouldn't be enough to stop me if I wanted to do it

Their are plenty of members who are LEOs in my unit. Very supportive or not much at all I've come to find out with Guard/reserve. Some departments will even give military paid leave while others considered it a hassle to have you. However the training from being an LEO is an asset to any unit. It also opens doors to other opertunities. A great career field, but just like the military long hours and hardship is also a price.
