"The company failed to contact the officers to alert them of the hack"...there would be HELL to pay for this if something was to happen. NO EXCUSE for trying to save face and not tell them. Onto the hackers, I'm torn on this being when Aynomous does their thing, they are quiet, and you feel and see the repercussions of their actions. Once they're done, you have every mom and pop black hatters group claiming they did it. So while I acknowledge ISIS could have a black hat arm being they DO have the single greatest propaganda arm in the world (fact. it's well documented). I just wonder is this is a group of kids bored, and figured this would be a good idea. I hope these cops are protected and watch over each other and nothing comes to them or their loved ones.

Always a Good Trick in Information Warfare make the Police and Security Folks Fearful. Really wonder how much was "Hacked" over how much was garnered from Open Source Material. Did see an excellent article today about Hacking into Police Drones.
