WASHINGTON (AP) -- A U.S. Capitol Police officer was shot Monday at the Capitol Visitor Center complex, and the shooter was taken into custody, Capitol officials and police said.

SSG Ed Mikus problem here is that there are a lot of reports coming out that are not providing a whole lot of information. I have seen several sources, including looking at the one you posted, and most are just saying shooting, police officer injured, not serious, shelter in place, shooter in custody, but not much else. It is as if this incident is being locked down. Nobody is talking.
