It's a shame he's gone. I remember hearing he had a chance for a transplant, but refused since it was based off his celeb status? If that was true, that man is one of the few men I'd consider a hero.

One of the best 30/30's was on the bears - Buddy Ryan. The team was reminiscent of the bond/brotherhood of the military. A friend of mine - Kevin Krebs - helped with the reunion and I got to meet one of my childhood idols - Richard Dent.

He was the defensive coordinator for the Bears in '85. He's the man behind the 4-6 defense that set several NFL records. If you ever get a chance to watch the 30/30 on this its really good. Otis Wilson works for one of our clients and I've talked to him on a number of occasions about the Bears. There is a ton of love for Buddy even from the offensive guys.
