I wholeheartedly concur with you SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL the Veterans Affairs Department is failing to meet the needs of many gulf war veterans. In FY 2015 they denied" nearly 82 percent of claims filed by Gulf War veterans for two main conditions presumed to be connected to their military service — chronic multi-symptom illness and undiagnosed illnesses."
This is incredibly sad but not surprising for the VBA.

I recently tried filing a for ailments that the VA has been treating me for years, including memory problems and bowel problems. I've already got a 50 percent rating for PTSD, but they rejected my claims for my other problems.

Agreed, experiencing the VA is yet one more challenge to a lifetime of service. I'm happy to share that the positive effort in ongoing clinical research and trials may help: https://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/publications/gulf-war/gulf-war-2018/research-2018.asp
