Thanks once again SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
I concur with you and the veterans benefits attorney, Chris Attig that for a service-connection VA claim, you must make sure you have three elements clearly represented:
•An injury, illness, or event acquired while you were serving in the military.
•A current diagnosis or disability, or recurring or persistent symptoms of a disability.
•Competent and credible evidence that shows the injury is related to the current diagnosis.
I highly recommend that every transitioning service member or veteran who has any inclination of submitting a disability packet to VA contact one of the Veterans Service Organizations such as American Legion, Disabled American Veterans or Veterans of Foreign Wars. Each of those organizations had=s trained counselors who will help you prepare and submit a packet and follow-up with VBA on your behalf.

LTC Stephen F. this indeed is great information. If Veterans use wisely, it should mitigate some of the chaos in disability process claims.
