Contrary to what SP5 Mark Kuzinski says there is no loss for works here CPT (Join to see), they are savages that stop at nothing. I really think every single one of them should be annihilated!

The other tragedy to this is that many Americans are buying into the entire "let's just make peace with them" philosophy.
I will not mention the candidate I support or do not support in this election, but one candidate made a troubling statement, that I believe lends itself to just how much our leaders and potential leaders don't know about our true enemies.
The comment was that we need to stop going after their terrorists and instead go after their families until they get sick of losing loved ones and just quitting the fight.
We know the truth, however, and there are 2 very important reasons that this should not be done:
1: They do not look at death the same way we do. If our families become targets, we are concerned and will do everything to stop it from happening. If their families are targeted, they only become stronger and more resolved, and they would most likely get support from NATO if we did that. Death and fighting are an everyday fact from the day they are born. Death of their families or themselves means an honorable death for Jihad, and they will be guaranteed a place in Paradise.
2: ISIS and all other Muslim's who would seek to see our Country fall have a very powerful tool in our Nation: The media.
They can take a story like that and portray it in a way that over half of our Nation will empathize with them, along with several other Countries.
The best way to make our Nation fall is from within. Actually, Bin Laden had stated after the first failed attempt, that it was the only way America would fall.
If our Country were to do something like this, we would lose the approval from within and without the United States, and very quickly lose our status as a world superpower, and quickly become exactly the way ISIS wants us to be seen.
An unreliable and unstable country whom they do not trust, and we will become the evil "Satan" that they have called us for since 610AD, and they will be able to make our allies believe it as well.

PO1 Kerry French - Yes, a strong President is necessary. But he also has to have enough sense to surround himself with intelligent military advisors who are not yes men, are battle proven and combat tested, and who desire to see wars won rather than throw in the towels.
By that I mean do not let public opinion or the media dictate our ROE's or RUF's.
Wars are hard. People get killed in war, and the are three classes who will get hurt or killed: enemy combatants, friendly combatants, and non-combatants.
If politicians will stop trying to run the wars and let the military handle them, these conflicts would end a lot more quickly.
Also, please excuse what I am about to say and do not take it as an attempt to quell the First Ammendment and attack the Freedom of Speech, but imbedded reporters and camera's on the battlefield need to come to an end, and go back to the days when the military won wars.
Most people never understood why, when we were attacking and gaining ground, Sadam Hussein kept getting on the news and had his commanders say that they were beating us back, knowing it was a blatant lie.
Because it was a psychological attempt to keep the soldiers and his people engaged and positive.
I could go on and on about this E-5's view on the politics of war, but a strong president who is willing to listen to and support his military advisors is, in my opinion, a recipe for any successful military operation or engagement.
