Servant held as virtual slave, feds allege

What they aren't telling you is that the couple who held the 38 year old Nigerian woman as a slave, immigrated to the US from Nigeria and became naturalized citizens. You can read that little tidbit in the criminal complaint. If the couple had been any race other than African, this would have made national news.

In this day and age, why would an African couple believe it's OK to enslave another person of African decent?
