According to this report, POTUS has asked key leaders to come up with a new plan for fighting ISIS and to include confronting them in Libya as a part of it. Officials have not yet presented POTUS with a plan however potential options are said to lean towards heavy airstrikes in support of U.N. ground force operations other security experts say that the only option is a "bad option" and that is to commit ground forces.
Karim Mezran, a Libya expert said, "Without an international force of support, there is no way the new government can ever get into Tripoli,"
"Action in Libya is needed before Libya becomes a sanctuary for IS, before they become extremely hard to dislodge," said one US defence official. "We don't want a situation like in Iraq or Syria."
The US defence department "stands ready to perform the full spectrum of military operations as required," spokeswoman Michelle Baldanza told the AFP news agency.

Mission creep? Boots on the ground? Although I am not against it, but this C-in-C is in way over his head, even if he stood on Kerry's droopy shoulders. Listen to your experienced military leadership, not Rice and Jarrett. We may "contain and destroy" them as visualized long ago.

Maybe we've been talking to the wrong people. Let's talk to the people at the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and see what kind of a strategy they would come up with. After all, all forms of terrorism are more like a disease than anything else, isn't it? It's nothing like the Nazis or the Soviets. They don't have a territory to defend. You can't wipe out their industrial base with strategic bombing. Hell, they don't have one of those either. Every weapon, every vehicle, everything, even the clothes they wear are manufactured by the people they are infecting. That's why a military response hasn't worked and most likely never will. For every terrorist you kill, others appear (sort of like a cancer). Yes, they are a disease. That's how we should treat the problem...

All I got to say is that one cannot bomb or kill and idea, culture , or religion. This has been going on for centuries.... Maybe , one day when everyone in this world is following on the same sheet of music... Then again someone or some country is not going to like it... Just my two cents... CPT (Join to see)
