World Cruise
Met the USS Emory S. Land AS 39 while anchored off the coast of Oman in August 1988. We left there in late September and steamed to Perth, Australia where I spent my 22 birthday. Left there a week later, steamed between the islands of New Zealand, and then stopped for provisions in Panama City, Panama. Passed the canal, then steamed to Norfolk.
