Was temporarily assigned to First Air Cavalry Brigade as an office clerk and mail dispatcher to and from Divison Headquarters. I was pending a medical board for a broken hip, and crushed L. knee for in line of duty injury.

Deployed to Iraqi Freedom II Camp Cooke AL Taji, Iraq March 2004 to Feb 2005. Refueled Helicopters that landed at our Helipad. Operated HEMTT M977 Fuel pumper truck to push fuel to D-1 Nozzles at flight line. Operated M969 Fuel Tanker 5K pump to push fuel to 3 10,000 gal fuel bag bladders. Operated fuel and water separator 75 gpm pump to push to HEMTT pumper. Hooked up D-1 Nozzles to AH-64 Apache, UH-60 Blackhawk, CH-47 Chinook, CH-46 Sea Knight, used Vietnam surplus nozzle for OH-58 Kiowa Warrior Helicopter. Went on several re supply convoys to Balad, Iraq April to October 2004. Pulled guard duty at gate for the JSOC/CMAT Iraqi Civil Defense Training main gate at check point. Pulled perimeter tower guard. Did Radio room rotations keeping up dry erase fuel tracker statistics board.
