Medic
As a Medic I was assigned to the 2nd infantry platoon "K" company. We did our border assignments and extensive training in the boonies. I stayed with this platoon for 21 months and then I was sent to Schweinfurt to work in a dispensary at Conn Barracks. This was with the 35th FA,105's Towed. I was in Germany for 30 months.
Later the 10th Division was designated back into the 10th Mountain Division where it originally came from.
