I see myself as a scholarly elderly Anglo/Hispanic disabled Viet Nam war veteran. I was an NCO and served in 5th Corp in the 574th Personnel Service Company for 18 months, and believe it or not was awarded the good conduct medal .I was drafted out of my home town of Albuquerque, NM on Jan. 27, 1969. The same afternoon of my physical, I was on the airplane bound for Fort Ord CA.
