Supply Sergeant (S4)
I was a soldier of all traits in Field Artillery as the gunner, number one man, trails, and driver for our Lt. I kept pride and honor in all that I was tasked to do. I earned a Purple Heart while in Afghanistan because of the VBIED blast that we were involved in, but being able to come home to my family after I was taken care of hurt a lot physically and mentally, but I have gotten to learn that I’m blessed, still trying to heal every day and fight for the life I was given again.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
We were stationed at COP McClain where we performed our duties as a Field Artillery Unit until it got worse and we had to go Infantry to assist our fellow units.
