Assistant Personnel Sergeant
This was the most jacked up assignment. At the time division ran thier own S-1 shop, but then had submit to a "higher" battalion. Naturally, every senior CSM felt the regs didn't apply to them because , hey I'm at division. Neoptism was so bad it was unreal.
Jun 2001 - May 2003
Operations NCO
Assignment under the International Headquarters Support Command, work in base support off, also had a short stint in the Live Oak building (think that's right if I remember), where the ICC cell works out of, supporting SFOR/KFOR/ISAF along with other EU led operations.
Mar 2000 - Jun 2001
Assistant Personnel Sergeant
This was a a short lived assignment as NATO didn't renew the units mandate with the United States so the US military deactivated the asset and scattered us to the winds of Europe and beyond depending on the length of in country time a person had. My primary mission was to find homes for everyone as we scaled down to our close.
Feb 1997 - Feb 2000
Operations NCO
Much like our counterpart's like NTC and JRTC, we trained battle staff in warfighting. Our focus was in simulation with our team taking a focus on the national guard element.
Deployments
(5 months)Dec 1990 - Apr 1991
Operation Desert Shield/Storm
We got deployed in woodland camo and kept it the entire time, only getting desert cammies when we redeployed. We got our deployment notification while in the box in Graf, and I ended up being stuck as both early deploy and late leave lol.
