After so many years of being one of the young guys, it is hard to believe I am now one of the old guys. I have been married 48 years to same woman. Father of three beautiful and smart daughters. Grandfather of one beautiful and smart grandson of 18 months. Worked for ABC News, AT&T and self. After family, veterans and active duty military come first.

This was the only assignment that was important. Everyone here knows what a commander's job is, no matter what the size of the unit. I learned how special soldiers are and acquired skills that have benefited me for the rest of my life.
