My dates for promotion are approximate. I don't have my DD 214. I was drafted in 7-67, enlisted did basic at Ft Knox then intelligence school at former Ft Holabird trained as an analyst graduated in 2-68 then 47 week Vietnamese language school at Biggs Field (FT Bliss), TX followed by 1 year in Vietnam as an interrogator. I am an admiralty lawyer in Norfolk, VA

Co. A, 519th MI BN, 525 MI Group | Vietnam

Interrogator at CMIC; Basic at Fort Knox 7-67/10-67, Intelligence School Ft Holabird 10-67/2-68, Vietnamese Language School DLI at Biggs Field, TX 2-68/2-69, Vietnam 3-69/3-70. Trained as OB Analyst but upon arrival in Vietnam assigned as an interrogator at Combined Military Interrogation Center (CMIC); the 525 MI Group is now the 525 MI Brigade.

Vietnam War

I interrogated prisoners at CMIC (Combined Military Interrogation Center Saigon), I was also deployed tdy to Korean Army near Qui Nhon and several US Army units to assist with interrogations. Work at CMIC was mostly strategic intel in the field mostly tactical intel.
