Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
I honestly don't remember much about my time in Iraq. I was in Howitzer Battery 1st Squadron 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. During my 3 months in Iraq we were out in the desert portion of Al Anbar. We were clearing an ASP and caught a few locals inside one of the bunkers. I was about 5 meters from the door. I woke up in Germany then again at BAMC.
