As a military retiree on TRICARE you are pretty much forced into Medicare when you turn 65, but a lot of us on RP aren't necessarily retirees and may not understand all the aspects of enrolling. I see all lot of people in this area who end up paying penalties because they didn't enroll during their eligibility period. well I was hit with Part A and B when I filed. Since the VA handles all of my medical care I added a Part C that returns most of the deductible to me. and I get some perks I can't get from the VA like the silver sneakers program.
