India is pitching to neighbors and partners in betterment for road connectivity from India's northeastern region to the South China Sea. Myanmar and Bangladesh, and Thailand can help make this another reality. This is not another Chinese High-Interest Preferred Loan scam, I can assure you.

India is attempting to solidify bonds through connectivity with its neighbors that eliminates need for high-interest loans from China and leaves all in a win-win formula.
During the Japanese Empire occupation of Burma, Cambodia, etc., there was a lifeline of trade between Imphal and Rangoon. The connection discussed will be Imphal - Rangoon - Yangon to the Andaman Sea. The only issue I can imagine is porous border with Myanmar.
