I agree with you SFC Boots Attaway.  But then we are never to old to learn new things either.  As time goes quickly by us many things change.  But one thing I hope to always admire is military standards/codes.  We need to continue to Mentor and or help in any way we can in life other wise this would be a terrible terrible place to live.  The Military, Police, Firefighters and people in any uniform are looked up to from our younger generations and we need to stay in constant awareness that they osorb things like a sponge and if we set good or better examples maybe the few who do catch on will make  a difference for our future generations.

Mentorship is not only for young professionals, but senior professionals as well. In fact, as people grow in their careers having a mentor is crucial.

GEN Colin Powell once said, "Perpetual optimism is its own force multiplier." So's good mentorship, not least which because of its multi-generational impact.

I believe the importance of having a mentor as well as being a mentor never goes away. There are always new things to learn and there will always be a need to share what you know.

I have received some of the best professional mentorship through various contacts in my retirement transition.
