Craig M. Mullaney is an experienced tech executive, New York Times bestselling author, and decorated Army combat veteran. He currently leads strategic partnerships in business, science, and public affairs at Facebook and is the founder of Facebook’s Global Executive Program. In this role, Craig provides strategic counsel on critical communications issues for global partners ranging from former heads of state and Fortune 50 CEOs to presidents of major charitable foundations, spiritual leaders, scientific luminaries, and entrepreneurs. Craig came to Silicon Valley following a career in public service. During the first term of the Obama Administration, Craig served as a senior political appointee at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and at the Pentagon. Prior to joining the Department of Defense, Mullaney was on the national security policy staff of President Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
Mullaney graduated second in his class from the United States Military Academy. After completing Ranger School, he continued to the University of Oxford on a Rhodes scholarship and earned masters degrees in diplomatic and economic history. As an Army officer, Mullaney led an infantry rifle platoon along the hostile border between Afghanistan and Pakistan with the 10th Mountain Division as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Mullaney’s military decorations include the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal with “V” device, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Ranger Tab, and Parachutist Badge. Mullaney is the author of the 2009 New York Times bestseller The Unforgiving Minute: A Soldier’s Education. He has appeared on The Charlie Rose Show, The CBS Early Show, BBC World News America, National Public Radio, The Colbert Report, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Craig is committed to assisting returning veterans with leadership opportunities in the technology industry as a founding member of the nonprofit Vets in Tech advisory board. A Rhode Island native, Craig currently resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife and three children.

how does one get a job with Facebook with out a degree but more than 20yrs of service ? I'm getting tired and thinking about retirement soon ( couple more years ).
Thank you for your service CPT Craig Mullaney coming to you form Newport, RI. Isn't West Point a beautiful campus. I did lot of MP duty up there in the 70's, early 80's.
