If you were in the civilian sector a doctor would tape your two toes together and tell you that's all there is to it. You are not prohibited from doing your job by having a broken toe. There is nothing that your PA can do for you with a broken toe. Just like if you were in the civilian sector, if your medical appointment conflicts with your job, then you reschedule your medical appointment. Your primary job in the army is not medical appointments, and you are not going to lose your toe by rescheduling your appointment.
Even if you cannot function in the FDC, you can provide support in other ways to your company. You can man the radio, or be the TOC guard. Your PA is not going to do anything for you at your appointment that your company medics can't do either. You are not being prevented from scheduling a follow up with the PA, and if you think the PA is invested in exactly when your follow up happens, initiate that conversation with the PA. You'll probably find out that your command already asked the PA if it was OK to take you out to the field.

My advice, don't try to play mommy against daddy. Your command team has a weekly status of the forces meeting with your PA to discuss all the profiles in the company and your situation has already been discussed.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 6 at 2019 6:14 PM2019-03-06T18:14:53-05:002019-03-06T18:14:53-05:002019-03-06T17:57:27-05:00
