Your Thoughts; Should Poems Rhyme?

Every poem I've written rhymes. My personal opinion is that a poem should rhyme, otherwise it is just descriptive writing. What are your thoughts?

I agree. To me, if it doesn't rhyme, it's not poetry.

No poetry is a vivid way of telling a stroy with the use of semantics to convey several different meanings at one point in time

Poetry is as much rhythmic, as it is rhyme. some of the greatest poetry doesn't rhyme. (And NO, I cannot quote any - you'll just have to take my word)
