Regardless of their politics, I find the fact that they were willing to serve before "public service" a hopeful sign. Maybe "serve" means to them what it means to me.<br /><br />Then again, I can think of a lot of jerks that served before being elected who remained jerks.... I'm still more fond of veteran jerks.Response by COL Vincent Stoneking made Nov 6 at 2014 8:13 AM2014-11-06T08:13:58-05:002014-11-06T08:13:58-05:00SCPO Private RallyPoint Member313416<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think it is a start. The more military friendly representatives we have the better. I think the younger vets will offer insight that is not presently there.Response by SCPO Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 6 at 2014 8:14 AM2014-11-06T08:14:03-05:002014-11-06T08:14:03-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member313480<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's a start. And every time I think about it, I think about all the unsavoury things I've done as an indiscreet youth, haha. That and the fact that I absolutely abhor political games -- just speak plainly and with frankness.
