I don't.<br /><br />However, I do care that I feel that I am getting "full value" for my taxes.<br /><br />If you are taking 15% (1/7) of my week's worth, you better be providing a value equal to that. If you want to bump it up to 20% (1/5), you better provide a value equal to that.<br /><br />That's where I don't think these politicians "get it."<br /><br />Why should I or anyone, give up the productivity of a whole day of the week, if we aren't getting that level back?<br /><br />Now, as an example, if we were actually getting full on Single Payer Health Care (not national health service), I'd be happy to jump from 15% to 20% Federal income tax. If we were getting Inclusive Education Benefits through Post Secondary school, bump it up 2%. Another 2% for grad school. Not a payback scheme, inclusive.
