Absolutely opposed. It was wrong in Europe, but is even more wrong here where the First Amendment - Freedom of Speech far outweighs your desire (NOT right) to have people stop talking about things you don't want to have talked about any more.

Separately, it is another brick in the wall, making even the FACTS (let alone the interpretations) of history disappear.
