No matter how balmy and inviting, you should check out the politics that you'll be inheriting when you move to one of these places. Yes, politics in America are annoying even in the best of times, but no nation enjoys the guarantees of liberty that one finds in the US. I know some argue that Swedes, Canadians, Brits, whomever are just as free, but they don't understand that there is no guarantee. For example, the Brits don't have a Constitution and their rights may be rescinded by law at any time Parliament decides. That respects our rights, property and our undeniable right to protect ourselves. Also a country that gives us the most bang for our buck.
