Would you be interested in a convoy calculator app that tabulates ground convoy times when you input basic information?

Convoy commanders (and operators) should have a fundamental, working knowledge of convoy & convoy operations & planning. Estimating time/space, map reconnaissance, asset capabilities, etc. What happens when there are no phone chargers, WiFi, or "hot spots?" The lads on the ground darned-well better know how to execute these basics of planning & execution of this task... without an "ap."

MAJ Private RallyPoint Member, I know that at least one application used to exist long ago, because the California National Guard used it for route-planning and scheduling 40 INF DIV's convoys to and from annual training at Camp Roberts back in '88. As best I can recall, the movement-control team adapted a program which had originally been used for routing nuclear shipments, so it enforced safety margins between convoys on intersecting routes.

That was in the dark ages of CP/M as the operating system, and before the widespread availability of GIS data, so I'd be interested in seeing a modern replacement leveraging the increased GIS information available today.

I'd say it would be helpful as an add-on to BFT/FBCB2. SMs already have enough tech toys to learn.
