LTC Jason Mackay5768049

Many questions are posed on RP each day. Some offer a "thanks for the share" or "good luck I'll pray for you" or a glib opinion to members seeking a regulatory or policy substantiated response. There are some on here that do a yeoman's work of providing that researched advice. Would RP consider adding a feature to have a member tagging function for members calling on specific members to weigh in? Heck you get 100pts just to be first. Being mentioned is 5 points. What value do we place on answers that are generally correct and researched? The tag would serve as a cyber tug on the sleeve to a known person of knowledge by another member.

The benefit would be for the members who know CW2 Private RallyPoint Member can answer Psyops questions, or SFC Private RallyPoint Member d is the go to for retention questions or anything S1 should be bounced off SFC Private RallyPoint Member , or 1SG Private RallyPoint Member can answer about the VA, they can be called to cut through the speculation. Also, along with it, there needs to be more tags for many of the existing main categories... Is there really that great of a need to be recognized and awarded?

You talk about some going through a yeoman"s work to research an answer. Not really. Either they know it well as an SME or as is often a case in my posts : take the same question to the greater internet (Google) and find the answer in about 30 seconds, cut and paste here.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 12 at 2020 2:51 PM2020-04-12T14:51:42-04:002020-04-12T14:51:42-04:00COL Mikel J. Anyway, wanted to give you the Intel on how they are added if you use them as a new tag on posts. I doubt they'll add the one you suggested, because it's not really a topic or subject.
