Example: Virginia was different requirements for every city or county. The state constitution was voted on and the rules amended to be the same everywhere in Virginia. Check with your local Treasurer/commissioner of Revenue for specific requirements. COL R. In Michigan, a resident of the State, honorably discharged, 100 percent permanently and totally disabled veteran is exempt from paying property tax on their primary residence, regardless of income. In addition, you should look at the other benefits offered.
