SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member147900<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The old "ArmyStudyGuide.com" is out of date and the Army is taking a new approach on boards focusing primarily on situational questions. This makes studying quite difficult. After studying my brains out for the last month, I decided that I would like to help other soldiers study by coming up with situational questions from updated Army regulations as well as an all around resource for Army board preparation. Is this allowed?Would anyone be interested in helping create a New Army Study Guide?2014-06-08T21:38:19-04:00SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member147900<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The old "ArmyStudyGuide.com" is out of date and the Army is taking a new approach on boards focusing primarily on situational questions. It is not possible to think of every possible scenario that someone could ask. The current Army study guide is far from useless as it has a lot of good references in it. Sure some of them are outdated and could stand to be updated.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 9 at 2014 6:42 AM2014-06-09T06:42:29-04:002014-06-09T06:42:29-04:00MSG(P) Michael Warrick148262<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We should perhaps make a website for it and a bookResponse by MSG(P) Michael Warrick made Jun 9 at 2014 7:47 AM2014-06-09T07:47:07-04:002014-06-09T07:47:07-04:00SFC Stephen P.148608<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Or, you could help with a similar project already started.<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="http://www.armyboardguide.com/">http://www.armyboardguide.com/</a><br /><br />If you are going to publish anything in public, make sure you abide by the distribution limitations of the source publication. <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">

This resulted in NCOs who couldn't interpret regulations but could quote verbatim the definition of the .38 revolver.<br /><br />I had a SFC in Iraq sit on the board for a Soldier I sponsored, and tell the Soldier he was wrong for citing two levels of maintenance as being field and sustainment; because there were four (unit, DS, GS, Depot). This was in 2010. <br /><br />Armystudyguide.com made us dumb. Actually studying the doctrine separates the NCO from the private: Understanding and interpreting doctrine at the tactical level so we can achieve the commander's intent.Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 11 at 2014 8:32 PM2014-11-11T20:32:47-05:002014-11-11T20:32:47-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member1526889<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Any update on this? is it still in the works? or just another thing that fell through the cracksResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 13 at 2016 3:32 PM2016-05-13T15:32:57-04:002016-05-13T15:32:57-04:00SGT Brent Scott3211810<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>But to think about any standards which would change on a regular basis as soldiers do, we are living in a world where generation X, baby boomers and milineals dwell together. The baby boomer standards served us well even the new generation was easily adaptable to them, but now you have to think about what the future holds and the different scenarios that play out in upcoming yrs for the next couple generationsResponse by SGT Brent Scott made Dec 30 at 2017 4:30 PM2017-12-30T16:30:35-05:002017-12-30T16:30:35-05:002014-06-08T21:38:19-04:00
