According to the below, the B-17, B-24, and B-29 are all going to be at Manassas Regional Airport tomorrow (5/9/2015):

"At this tour stop, the B-17 will be joined by Fifi, the only flying B-29, and Diamond Lil, the oldest B-24 still flying. Both of these aircraft are owned by the Commemorative Air Force. All three bombers will be open for tours during non-flying hours, generally around noon."

GySgt Wayne A. Ekblad, thanks for the post. I wonder if the A-26/B-26 will be at the Smithsonian. When I was young I put together plastic models of these airplanes never really expecting to see the real planes.

Yes, according to a post I did a few minutes ago about activities at Dulles, they will be there tomorrow.

GySgt Wayne A. Ekblad, I realized that some formations did not travel down the Potomac River from the north. I expect some flew up river from points south and that they arrived in proper sequence. For instance the lead planes from the north were a pair of Curtis P-40 Warhawks with Flying Tiger painted noses. We didn't see any of the trainers.

Very possible, from what I understand, they were coming out of a couple different locations around the area. If that is the case, they probably traveled different routes.
