We also had the M60 as a tank back then. We used plotting boards, today they use computers. ' Bout the only advice I could give you is don't forget your ear plugs. If you do, I hope you know a smoker, 2 cigarette filters make good field expedient ear plugs. That is, unless the military finally figured out how to quiet down the sound of them to sound like they do in the movies.Response by SPC Mel White made Jul 3 at 2017 8:40 PM2017-07-03T20:40:12-04:002017-07-03T20:40:12-04:00SSG Steven Mangus2699361<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Pray.. There are two things that are a constant..oppressive heat and the red headed cooked woodpecker..every time I went I was on my last brown t-shirt and last pair of socks before the last mission and what does it do? Rain right before we set out for the objective..have fun and don't worry it's only thirty days or so..Response by SSG Steven Mangus made Jul 3 at 2017 9:44 PM2017-07-03T21:44:11-04:002017-07-03T21:44:11-04:00SPC Don Wynn2703430<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Don't forget your earplugs!! Most places you can't dig so take some sandbags and shovels to set up your MFP's if your going to be on a FOB. Also if you have the 120 trailers with the FCC's use a two wire set up so you will have continuous communication between guns and FDC. When you go to Peason Ridge to do your certification there is a one room shed type building that y'all can set up in overnight with electricity and a/c but make sure you take down your aiming circles and double check the poles the next morning due to wild horses running around and they will knock over your aiming circles and possibly break them. Other than that have fun learn all you can from the O/C's and again drink lots of water cause it is hot and humid as hell out there.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 7 at 2017 11:02 AM2017-07-07T11:02:39-04:002017-07-07T11:02:39-04:00SGT David Coulter2770819<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think the baffle does someResponse by SGT David Coulter made Jul 26 at 2017 11:33 PM2017-07-26T23:33:10-04:002017-07-26T23:33:10-04:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member3012433<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Don’t shoot at the helicopter.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 19 at 2017 5:03 AM2017-10-19T05:03:45-04:002017-10-19T05:03:45-04:002017-07-03T18:51:22-04:00
