with the new pt test coming out in 2020 for the army..if u fail even 1 of 5 events do you fail the whole test..or is there some grade scale?

Since there are so many test i didnt know if if they maybe graded all the events differently or if i fail one u just failed.

There's no real standards for it yet. That's why the Army is having everyone test it out and gather data so they can make determinations like that. It wouldn't be surprising to see them roll it back another year if they receive unexpected feedback from the field.

I will make a strong assumption that if you bolo an event, you bolo the whole test.

Hmmm, changing exersizes does not mean changing procedures. If you fail one you most likely will fail the test just as you do today.

If you fail an event then you will fail the test. The passing scores are relatively low. I have see a scoring sheet that was unofficial for the test. What I like about this test is that there is a wide spread of passing. It is no longer a 60-100 points to pass. It is lower and more realistic. They don't expect everyone to get anything near the max. In theory very few in the Army will be able to max the test in general. You won't find many runners that can deadlift in the Army on a large scale as opposed to those that max the run and push ups.
