With the EU having open borders, is it wise to send a Gitmo detainee to Italy?

The US, as part of the clear out Gitmo campaign, is releasing Fayiz Ahmad Yahia Suleiman, who spent 14 years in custody. The DoD said it was grateful for the humanitarian gesture and willingness of Italy to support ongoing U.S. efforts to close the Guantanamo.

Good a Place as any. Considering our Military Relationship with Italy it is probably a better place than most. I'm sure the Authorities there will have him on a short leash considering the 6th flt in Naples and NAS Sigonella.

Are prison breaks prevalent in Italy or Europe? Not trying to sound funny or anything but I ask that question honestly. Even so, how corrupt the Italian government is coupled with how racist Italy is in general, I'm pretty sure a call can be made to the mafia to squash any ISIS presence in the country

It is not wise to release any of the remaining Gitmo prisoners; they are the worst of the worst and will surely strike back once freed.
