Branch Manager cannot send you to any unit because you are one of so many that are in the same situation. Are you currently staying put in your position? Though I had to stay at my location in order to get ECCC prior to my next assignment. I will be at a point when up for PCS (3 year mark) when I will be up for MAJ BZ look and not sure if they will make me stay here until I make MAJ (if BZ or primary zone) or send me to a MAJ slot to "mature" into once I pin whenever I make it. Then again I am AGR so that may be different than AC. I'm looking at retiring around the Austin area and would love to have a final assignement working at Randolph and have my dear Uncle Sam help me out and foot the bill for a mortgage for a few years for me and help me get set up real pretty for my life after the military.
