Branch Manager cannot send you to any unit because you are one of so many that are in the same situation. Are you currently staying put in your position? With the Army downsizing, are you finding it hard to PCS to move up in your career? 2014-05-20T20:26:15-04:00 CPT Jacob Swartout 131221 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For many Soldiers, there are not enough positions available to move up and you get stuck in your current position. Though I had to stay at my location in order to get ECCC prior to my next assignment. I will be at a point when up for PCS (3 year mark) when I will be up for MAJ BZ look and not sure if they will make me stay here until I make MAJ (if BZ or primary zone) or send me to a MAJ slot to "mature" into once I pin whenever I make it. Then again I am AGR so that may be different than AC. I'm looking at retiring around the Austin area and would love to have a final assignement working at Randolph and have my dear Uncle Sam help me out and foot the bill for a mortgage for a few years for me and help me get set up real pretty for my life after the military.
