Will you still get paid after chapter 8 separation in the military? Do you get full benefits as if you were a veteran or no?

Your VA GI Bill and several other VA benefits are determined by the amount of qualifying service you have.

Chapter 8 does not receive separation pay. In addition to receive separation pay you must be a PFC with 6 years.

Chapter 8 is a Voluntary Separation and you will be required to pay back a prorated portion of any bonus you may have received.

Veteran status is a legel term that is determined by the amount of qualifying service you have.

Uh, no on the money part. You're not getting paid.
I'd wait it out until the baby is born before I left if I were you. Unless the baby's daddy is military or has insurance.
As far as other benefits, that's going to depend on the nature of your discharge.
If it's an honorable, you're good, if not, then it sucks to suck.
You can use the VA health system if and that's based on income as to what priority group you're placed in. Here is a list of groups and what it entitles.

But you have to apply to use the healthcare system and that can take a couple months to get you in. That was before COVID, not sure how long it takes now.
You can't just show up and expect to be seen. Now,once you're in the system, you can go to the ED, but until then. They will turn you away.

What payments are you expecting? From what/who? If you are no longer on AD you won't be getting a monthly paycheck. You won't be a 20 yr retiree so no retirement pension. If you are inquiring about VA monthly compensation payments or VA medical services that is between you and them and whether you meet their eligibility requirements. Their are shades of grey to your question/answer and without more details I can't answer exactly what will pertain to your situation. But the short answer is there isn't an automatic payment/benefits just because you left service. It depends on the details.
