Since the death of Master Sgt Joshua Wheeler I think many civilians are questioning the strategy. And I'm sure many of our serving members are not sure what is the best strategy. We can argue the opinion about our troops not being combat troops all day in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. But the question still remains will our current strategy fail and we will see a few more lives lost. I don't know what the right answer is but we need to figure out something soon. Will the mentality of Americas train and equip eventually be doomed to failure?2015-11-01T21:43:23-05:00MSgt Private RallyPoint Member1081536<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>In an article in military Times it takes about the troubled strategy. It was the same way in Iraq. We trained the same folks we fought against the next day. They are smart to play nice long enough to get the good training and equipment.Response by TSgt David L. made Nov 1 at 2015 9:48 PM2015-11-01T21:48:19-05:002015-11-01T21:48:19-05:001SG Private RallyPoint Member1081610<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I might argue that the strategy being employed in Iraq and Syria was good or bad... if I could discern what that strategy is. I like to think I am a pretty astute observer, and I have no idea what we are trying to accomplish there.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 1 at 2015 10:33 PM2015-11-01T22:33:07-05:002015-11-01T22:33:07-05:00PO3 Private RallyPoint Member1082394<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>.... just stop training the enemy of our enemy ....
