Will the Bangles ever be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

I know most of us have asked ourselves at one time or another this very important question: Are there any groups that come close to the way dumb males like myself are so smitten? Females, you are free to opine.

Somehow SSgt Private RallyPoint Member I doubt it. No offense but I just don't think the Bangles are/were good enough for the Rock and Roll HOF.

I don't care either way. They had the whole 80s thing going on and the lead singer was hot and all but quality and staying power-wise, I don't think they had it. Fad Rock - they came in like legwarmers and went out with Carl Spicoli's checkerboard loafers.

The only thing they had was one of the few (at the time) all female groups that actually played decent music. I do not believe, outside of being an all girl band, that they brought anything really new or earth shaking to rock - n - roll... Sorry.

Well they let green day in, which dont get me wrong, they WERE great, in the early 90s but fell off a few years later with warning. Theyre greatest accomplishment was the simpsons theme song in the movie. If theyre gonna let green day in, who knows though.

I know last time i was at the HOF i was bored seeing zz top and aerosmiths various stage outfits/accessories/instruments, and liked seeing different famous articles, not the same recycled things over and over (Elvis' draft card for example)

I personally would vote Cher in before the bangles though.

Rush was not inducted until 2013...Let that sink in for a moment. The hall of fame opened in 1986...27 years to get one of the greatest bands to ever play into the hall of fame. I think it has something to do with it being in Cleveland...Why Cleveland? Who goes there (besides LeBron James).

The Bangles, IDK if they will make it but until then she can walk like an Egyptian all over me. She still has it today!
